The UTS Second Hand Bookshop is the Student Associations' bookshop. It is a Not-for-Profit department. It aims to facilitate the buying and selling of books by students for students. It has existed on campus for 20 years. When text books cost so much money, having a 2nd hand service saves hundreds of students each semester. Students can buy and sell their books at up to two thirds of the retail price.

OLD EDITIONS
Please note when browsing the online catalogue you may see books denoted with the 'edition number + OLD EDN'- this means that the book was dropped off to be sold last year (when it was the latest edition) and now there is a new edition in 2009. We have emailed the student/owner of the book to come pick up their book.
So if you are selling through the bookshop -
We ask you to CHECK before you register your books that the book* is the current* prescribed/latest edition* at the time you drop off the books.
Later on if that latest edn book* has not sold and it goes into a new edition or becomes a dropped text we will email* you to come pick up the book or donate. (Please note: If it is not the latest edition and is an old edition/dropped text at the time that you register/drop off the books it will be automatically donated to our sale table and you will not receive an email.)
