The UTS Second Hand Bookshop is the Student Associations' bookshop. It is a Not-for-Profit department. It aims to facilitate the buying and selling of books by students for students. It has existed on campus for 20 years. When text books cost so much money, having a 2nd hand service saves hundreds of students each semester. Students can buy and sell their books at up to two thirds of the retail price.

SECOND HAND PRICES AND OUR COMMISSION
The book is sold as per your email contract at that price to the customer. ( Maximum resell of books is 70% of the new book price.) The book shop receives 30% commission on sales whilst you receive 70% of the second-hand price. This is the condition you agree to online for sale in our shop.
Most other second hand bookshops only offer $10 per book so we believe our policy is fair to you whilst enabling the shop to stay open as a service. The shop makes a loss each year- we still do not cover our business costs even now.
